Under thedesign of Samuel Beazley Lyceum Theatre has
undergone refurbishment in the year 1834. Theatre is known for varied kind of
entertainment such as opera, music hall, slapstick and a number of dramatic
productions including some of the legendary works of Shakespeare. It has also
been used as concert venue for some of the most loved and legendary bands
during the era of 60s and 70s, such as Queen, Led Zeppelin. Since 1999, the
theatre is successfully enthralling audience with its epic production, The Lion
King.
