The story of The
Lion King is set against the African pride-lands, and commences with the birth
of Simba the Lion Cub to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. His birth makes Mufasa's
brother Scar jealous and insecure who plots to get rid of him along with his
brother to be the King of Pride Rock. The show depicts some beautiful emotional
bonding such as Simba develops a relationship with Nala and his new friends Timon
and Pumba. All of them convince Simba to return and reclaim his kingdom.
