The Lion king Show In London

The classic story of Simba has been retold beautifully and presented fabulously onstage at the Lyceum theatre. The popular show is adapted from the classic 1994 movie version. The show features a cast of colourful characters against the backdrop of African savannah. With life sized elephant to the lovable, yet evil hyenas, The Lion King features some wonderful memorable scores penned by talented duo Elton John and Tim Rice. Some of the chartbusting musical numbers are "The Circle of Life", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "I Just Can't Wait to Be King".

The story of The Lion King is set in the African pride-lands and starts with the birth of Simba the Lion Cub to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. The evil brother of King, Scar is jealous of the newborn Prince and conspires to Kill the family of his brother to be the King of Pride Rock. The Lion King is the struggle of Simba to reclaim his kingdom back. The show also portrays some beautiful relationships such as Simba with Nala and his new friends Timon and Pumba.

This heart-warming story, The Lion King has been enlivened up onstage in a spectacular fashion featuring talented cast and musicians. With fantastic atmosphere that will transport you to the heart of Africa, the show is a complete roller coaster ride for people of all age groups.

The Lyceum Theatre is running the show and positioned in the area of London known as Covent Garden. This is one of the most vibrant and exciting part of the city in the heart of London’s Theatreland. The venue also features some wide range of restaurants close to the Lyceum that cater for every taste, along with high street shops. Some of the popular tourist attractions such as the London Transport Museum, Covent Garden Market and the Royal Opera House are at a nearby distance.
