The Lion King Musical Show in London Lyceum Theatre

Come and feel the magic of mesmerizing London show, The Lion King at the opulent Lyceum Theatre London! The award winning London show is a complete treat for people of all age groups. The show made its grand debut in 2000 and since then WaltDisney's The Lion King is the hottest tickets in town.

With its spectacular production by Julie Taymor', the epic saga of Simba, the young cub is a brilliant amalgamation of live action, puppetry and incredible sets. The show is adapted from the classic movie featuring a cast of colourful characters. The show has enlivened up the atmosphere of the African savannah with life sized elephant, lovable, yet evil hyenas.

Chartbusting musical numbers makes the show a must watch for all. The Lion King features heart touching memorable musical numbers by song writing duo Elton John and Tim Rice. Some of the chartbusting musical numbers are "The Circle of Life", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "I Just Can't Wait to Be King".

The story of The Lion King is set against the backdrop of African pride-lands. The heart touching show commences with the birth of Simba the Lion Cub to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. The evil brother of Mufasa, Scar is jealous of the newborn Prince. He conspires to get rid of his brother, Mufasa and his family to be the King of Pride Rock.

The beautiful show is loved by all as it has heart touching relationships like with Nala, Timon and Pumba. All of them convince Simba to return and reclaim his kingdom. This heart-warming story features a talented cast and musicians. Hence, there is a fantastic atmosphere that transfers you to the heart of Africa.

The Lyceum Theatre is located at 21 Wellington Street,  London,  WC2E 7RQ in the area of London known as Covent Garden. This is one of the most vibrant and exciting part of the city located in the heart of London’s Theatreland. The venue features wide range of restaurants close to the Lyceum. You can have a great time, as there are wide range of high street shops and other tourist attractions such as the London Transport Museum, Covent Garden Market and the Royal Opera House.
