The award
winning London show, The Lion King is a complete audio visual treat for theatre
lovers. Lyceum theatre is running the show with packed houses. Walt Disney's
The Lion King made its grand debut in London Westend in the year 1999 and since
then set the box office register ringing. Julie Taymor's epic production is a
brilliant combination of live action, puppetry and mind blowing sets. The
classic show features colourful characters against the backdrop of African savannah.
TheLion King features life sized elephant, evil
hyenas and many more. One of the key highlight of the blockbuster London show
is heart touching musical numbers penned by song writing duo Elton John and Tim
Rice. The show also features heart warming musical numbers like "The
Circle of Life", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "I
Just Can't Wait to Be King".
The award
winning London show is set against the backdrop of African pride-lands
featuring the birth of Simba the Lion Cub to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. The
evil brother of Mufasa, Scar wants to be the King of Pride Rock and is jealous
of the newborn Prince. To get rid of Simba, he conspires against King Mufasa
and his family. After the death of Mufasa and Queen, Scar advises Simba to run
away and never return.
Simba forms a strong relationship with Nala along with new friends Timon and Pumba. All his friends convince him to return and reclaim his kingdom from his evil Uncle Scar. The heart warming saga has been enlivened up onstage featuring talented cast and musicians.

Theopulent Lyceum Theatre is located in the area
of London known as Covent Garden. This is one of the most vibrant and exciting
part of the city in the heart of London’s Theatreland. The popular theatre is
located close to some of the popular and variety of restaurants. The venue is
located near some of the high street shops. You can also enjoy visit to some of
the popular tourist attractions such as the London Transport Museum, Covent
