Catch the award winning London show, The Lion King at themagnificent Lyceum Theatre London! In
the year 2000, Walt Disney's The Lion King made its grand debut and went on
becoming one of the hottest London shows in the town. Julie Taymor's epic
production is a brilliant amalgamation of live action, puppetry and incredible
sets. The classic movie has been enlivened up onstage with cast of colourful
characters against the backdrop of the African savannah, featuring life sized
elephant to the lovable, yet evil hyenas.

Some of the chartbusting musical numbers of The Lion King are "The Circle of Life", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "I Just Can't Wait to Be King". The story is set against the backdrop of African pride-lands and commenced with the birth of Simba the Lion Cub to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi.

The brother of Mufasa, Scar is jealous of the newborn Prince and conspires
to get rid of him along with his brother to be the King of Pride Rock. In the

friends Timon and Pumba. All of them convince him to return and reclaim his
kingdom.
The Lion King is truly a heart-warming story presented
in a spectacular fashion featuring talented cast and musicians and offers
fantastic atmosphere that will transport you to the heart of Africa.
For those who are ardent fans of Disney must watch the superb London
show and suitable for the young and the young at heart. If you have enjoyed the
1994 film, then come and catch the show for the first time and experience the
mind blowing effect of seeing it live on stage. The show will be a memorable
