Interesting Facts About The Lion King

The popular London show made its debut in the year 2000 in London and went on becoming one of the most loved London Westend shows. Julie Taymor's epic production is a stunning amalgamation of live action, puppetry and incredible sets.

The evil brother of Mufasa, Scar wants to be the king of the Pride lands and is jealous of the newborn Prince. He conspires to get rid of the King and his family to be the King of Pride Rock.

The show Lion King features some great relationships such as between Simba and Nala. When Mufasa is killed in a Stampede, Simba has to leave the place and forms friendship with new friends Timon and Pumba, along with Nala. All of them convince him to return and reclaim his kingdom from his evil uncle Scar.

The heart-warming saga features talented cast and musicians and offers mesmerizing musical composition. The show is enjoyed a lot by the young and the young at heart.
